Anyone having trouble with water?
I HATE water. Plain tap water and I just don't get along. I can ge****er in if I use crystal light or something like that. I spend a fortune on flavored waters like Sobe Lifewater 0. I really like lemon, lime or orange slices in water but when I buy the fruit, it seems to go bad before I use it all up. I also can't take the fruit with me whereever I go. It is kind of hard to push a lemon wedge into the top of a water bottle.
Then I discovered True Lemon! These little packets are wonderful. It is dehydrated lemon, lime and/or orange juice. One little powdered packet and the water tastes good and doesn't bother my stomach. I think I am in love. My grocery store doesn't sell it but one across town does. I just went on line to True Lemon.com and ordered me a bunch. I think I see lots more water in my future. And much less soda, which has been creeping back into my lifestyle. I got to get it out now.

You know, I don't mind the taste of water, Cheryl, I just don't drink enough of it. I think that the main problem is that I haven't yet psychologically de-coupled it from mealtime. I drink before i eat, wait a bit, then eat, then don't drink for at least 30 minutes, and then, by the time I'm eligible for more fluids, I stopped thinking about it.
On the other hand, when I have enough herbal tea around, I drink a ton. I guess I'd always had the habit of sipping tea while I worked.
Some behaviors die hard and resist change all along the way!

I didn't like water before surgery. I could do it but certainly perfered it flavored. After surgery it was the only thing that didn't taste TOO much. Everything else was too salty, too sweet, etc. Water was wonderful. Your taste change. Now, 2 months out, I can do either. Don't discount it as an option after surgery.
Just re-read your date and saw you are post surgery. Oh well. Glad you found something that works for you and is portable. Newbees, remember water may be your friend after surgery.

Hi, Linda. I really need to made the extra effort to get back here more often. I am still training for the half marathon and it takes lots of time I ran 12 miles the other day and am still sore from it. When I work out 1-3 hours a day I just don't have computer time left. Hoping that will change soon.
I hate water too!! I use the crystal lite but it upsets my tummy most of the time. Thanks for the tip!!
I just ordered the FREE samples. Their web site says my local Grocery Store sells it in the Baking Aisle by the Splenda but I'm going to wait until I get my samples to try it. My tastes are very sensitive.
